Today we made the sweetest promise to look at the sky at night. We searched for the brightest star while living worlds apart. The feeling was so wonderful when I saw the brightest star. You had said before it would be me shining from afar. As I stayed there under the stars I whispered your name a thousand times, hoping the soft wind would carry my words to you across the miles. I whispered that I love you and really need you here. I blew your way a million kisses and my eyes began to tear. But those tears that briefly fell were of happiness and so much love.
